Background on RedEarth – Company History
RedEarth was established in 2013 and is named after the red centre of Australia. The company was co-founded by 3 former Australian CEOs of different companies and the company is known for manufacturing battery solutions that are tailored for Australian conditions.
RedEarth engineer and assemble their batteries here in Australia with their main headquarters located in Brisbane. RedEarth also provide energy management and monitoring through software that connects to their battery solutions.
RedEarth have recently launched their Troppo series battery which they have engineered and built themselves. Previous series featured batteries from LG Chem.
The company distributes batteries at smaller scale than some of the major US and Chinese battery manufacturers, however are aiming to provide high quality solutions that are custom designed for our local market and environment. RedEarth provide battery solutions for residential and commercial customers in both off and on grid systems.

Australian Warranty Terms For RedEarth Sunrise Batteries
RedEarth guarantees that your Battery System will be defect-free during the Warranty Period, and that it will have Nominal Energy Capacity at initial installation as indicated in the Warranty Schedule, as well as Retained Energy Capacity at the end of the Warranty Period as specified in the Warranty Schedule.
The Warranty Period continues from the date of the first installation to the sooner of the following: 7 years after original installation; or attainment of the Minimum Throughput as specified in the Warranty Schedule. RedEarth’s systems are built with high-quality materials. Also, their headquarters provides direct support, including surveillance.
This Warranty excludes any defect or shortfall in Nominal Energy Capacity or Retained Energy Capacity caused by the following behaviors: handling, storage, transport, installation, commissioning, operation, modification, service, maintenance, or repair of your Battery System that is not in accordance with the appropriate commissioning, installation, service, modification, or repair of your Battery System published on the website www.redearthenergystorage.com.
Moreover, the warranty does not cover fair wear and tear; deterioration of consumable components scratches, stains, castings, dents, or marks that do not have an unfavorable impact on performance; corrosion or weathering that does not have an unfavorable impact on performance; noise or vibration that does not have an unfavorable impact on performance; abuse, recklessness, misuse, or negligence; or events and their effects beyond the reasonable control.

Battery government rebate schemes across Australia
Currently there is no federal rebate for battery storage. Victoria, South Australia and the ACT have launched their own schemes that are now closed.
The main battery scheme currently available is Queensland’s Home Battery Booster rebate.
